Dr. Jennifer Fanders has been in practice over eight years. She graduated with a degree in Animal Science and Laboratory Animal Science from Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture in 1992. Then received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota in 1996.

Dr. Fanders is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association , New Jersey American Veterinary Medical Association, and the New Jersey House Rabbit Society. She was also a member of the Association of Avian Veterinarians Education Committee from 1993-1998.

Dr. Fanders had practiced both small animal and exotic medicine in New Jersey until joining the Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital staff in 2003 where she now sees a 100% exotic animal clientele.
