Dr.
Beverly Drotos joined Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital in June 2008. Dr. Drotos earned her Bachelor of Science
degree in Wildlife Biology from the University of Wyoming in 1994. In 1995, at the University of Tennessee, she
became a CCRP (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner). She then received her DVM from Kansas State
University in 2000. Dr. Drotos received
Certification in Acupuncture from Colorado State University in 2006. Before joining the OVH team, Dr. Drotos
worked for 3 years for the US Army Veterinary Corps, and worked 5 years at Red
Bank Veterinary Hospital.
Dr. Drotos
is married to Jason, and has a fun-loving, active son named Donovan. Their home is completed with Brook, a
Rottweiler, and Sydney, a lab. They
also enjoy watching their Koi and many other varieties of fish.
When not working, Dr. Drotos enjoys family time and many
outdoor activities, such as hiking and fishing, as well as just lying on the
beach. Dr. Drotos is an active reader
and dabbles in knitting and pottery.
