Dr. Katie Mohney joined the Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital
staff in April 2008. Dr. Mohney earned
her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from North Carolina State
University in 2000. She then earned her
Masters of Science degree in Animal Science, with a minor in Nutrition from NC
State University in 2002. Dr. Mohney
received her DVM degree in 2006 from Kansas State University. After graduation, Dr. Mohney began working
for a small animal practice in New Hampshire.
She then decided to move closer to her family and relocated to the
Jersey Shore and OVH.
Dr. Mohney is happy to live near her parents and extended
family. Her own family consists of two
kitties: a shelter rescue named Annie,
and a spry barn cat, Trinny.
In
her spare time, Dr. Mohney enjoys reading, playing piano, biking and
crafts. She is interested in getting
back into rowing and participating in theater productions. We will keep you updated!
