Behavioral Consultations

Our goal is to work as a team with you and your pet to better understand and reduce stressful conditions within your pet bird’s environment. Using behavioral and interactive techniques we design lifestyle changes to benefit and improve your pet’s physical, behavioral and psychological health.

The Behavioral Consult Program includes:

• Four 20-30 minute appointments every 2 weeks
• Complimentary DVD to reinforce behavior techniques
• Hand-outs
• Trial sized Nutri-berries, Avi-cakes and Nutri-forage
• Photo documentation of progress at each visit
  (if applicable)

General topics that will be discussed include:

• Foraging techniques (feeding behaviors, destructible and non-destructible toys)
• Interactive behaviors (vocalizing, posturing, skills completed on command)
• Flight training (if applicable)
