Monitoring and Support

Every patient is assigned a surgical technician to help monitor him or her during the procedure and throughout recovery as well. Some of the tools we use and systems we track include:

  • IV fluids
  • EKG monitor
  • Pulse and oxygen monitor
  • Body temperature monitor
  • Heated surgical tables and warm air blankets to maintain temperature
  • Esophageal stethoscope
  • Blood pressure monitoring

Throughout recovery, our trained staff ensures every pet remains pain free, comfortable, warm, and does not become anxious or scared.
