Special Needs Pets
"Grandpa" the Chihuahua
Because all facilities are not staffed to achieve the level of care required for pets that have special medical needs, we cater to these pets by having a veterinarian and Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVT) on the premises. In order to care for our special medical needs pets we have created our additional Care Packages and Diabetic Packages:
Diabetic Package
(applies to all Diabetic guests)
Dogs will receive daily: a report card to monitor food and water intake and urine output, insulin injections as directed, special meal preparation to ensure eating, and 3 private walks. This package also includes all medication administration fees.
Cats will receive the following: daily report card to monitor food and water intake as well as urine output, insulin injections as directed and special meal preparation to ensure eating. This package also includes all medication administration fees.
If a blood glucose test needs to be performed it will be at a doctor’s discretion for an additional charge.
Additional Care Package
For our canine VIPs that require extra attention and affection, they will receive daily: a report card to monitor food and water intake as well as urine and stool output, all currently prescribed medications, a bedding upgrade, 1 pet massage, and up to 4 Private walks per day. The additional care package is personalized to fit your pet’s needs.
