Laura Leanza DVM <br />

Laura Louise Leanza (Dr. LLL) originally hails from Glen Ridge, New Jersey, where she started out as a BENNY, making frequent trips to visit her extended family and vacation here at the Shore.  As a child she began her career rescuing bugs in her backyard, later branching out to volunteering at the local animal shelter and caring for her various other "siblings" as a human only child.

Laura enjoyed four years in the Philly area at Haverford College, where she obtained her BS in Mathematics, followed by a stint in New England at the Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine, finally reaffirming her Jersey Girl status in 2011.

She is the proud mother of Bradley, Alden & Daisy (a DAB of BAD) and enjoys hiking with the family, yoga, singing and live music.  She is still touting the benefits of microchipping after the miraculous return of MVP (most valuable pussycat), Mookie Blette, who was on the reserve list (aka missing) for two and a half years!!

Laura is happy to have the privilege to practice "Family Medicine" here at Oakhurst with special interests in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.  As the Managing DVM, her focus is to enhance the human animal bond experience for clients, patients and employees alike, and to champion the standards of compassionate excellence that set OVH apart.
