Pet BoardingWhen you go out of town, you probably think hard about where your pet should stay. You have lots of choices, and you likely want peace of mind and comfort for your pet. But what else should you keep in mind?

Our Pet Hotel is unique in many ways, and we receive lots of questions throughout the year. So here are some not-so-frequently asked questions about pet boarding that we think deserve an answer!

Will my pet ever be left unattended?

You may not think to ask this, but we wish more people would. Many boarding facilities close at 5 or 6 p.m. when staff go home for the night. At our hospital, veterinary staff and trained veterinary technicians are on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We regularly monitor your pet’s health and comfort at night. Should your pet need help, our veterinarian is on-call and can tend to them without a moment’s hesitation.

What does my pet do all day long?

When considering a boarding facility, you probably want safety and security, but what about fun and exercise for your pet? Luckily, at our Pet Hotel, the answer is easy.

We believe that a home-like environment is best for your pet. WIth minimized stress, they eat better and stay happier and healthier while you’re away. When your pet checks in at the Pet Hotel, you’ll have the opportunity to select an activity package for them to supplement our regular services during their stay.

Our luxury Pet Hotel and Spa offers 3, 4, and 5 star activity packages. You can choose from a menu of services including, but not limited to:

  • Extra playtime
  • Extra walks
  • Massage
  • Bathing, brushing, toenail trims, and hair trimming
  • Tooth brushing
  • Extra treats, including special fro-yo loaded Kongs
  • Special meal preparation
  • Bedtime tuck-in, with or without a story

What’s different about a cat-friendly boarding facility?

Have your heard of Cat Friendly Practices? We’ve made a special effort and commitment to our feline patients and guests. As a Certified Cat Friendly Practice, our team is highly trained in cat behavior and are experts at making sure feline guests remain comfortable and free from stress.

Cats are sensitive to smells and noise. Our facility is specially designed to protect cats by housing them far away from canine guests. Our kitty townhomes and condos have perches, scratching posts, and other amenities to keep cats happy and healthy.

My pet has special needs. Can you accommodate them?

No problem! We mentioned earlier that our Pet Hotel has trained veterinary staff who are experts at administering medications and performing treatments. Consistency is key with many medications, and our 24 hour staff can meet your pet’s needs at any hour of the day or night. We’re also trained to know when something isn’t right and have veterinarians on-call who can see your pet if necessary. This doesn’t happen often, but peace of mind is priceless when you have to be away from your pet.

Can I take a tour of your pet boarding facility?

By all means! We welcome the opportunity to show you our facility and how we can ensure your pet’s comfort and safety during their stay with us. Just call us for availability, and we’ll set it up for you!
