Veterinary Surgery

Our team is equipped to perform various surgical interventions such as hernia repair, ear canal surgery, soft palate surgery, removal of skin tumors and lumps, cruciate ligament repair, patella surgery, eye and eyelid surgeries including entropion and ectropion, anal gland surgery, bloat prevention/stomach tacking, and oral surgery.

Our state-of-the-art surgical suite meets the highest standards set by the American Animal Hospital Association. Each surgical procedure is supported by a dedicated surgical technician who monitors the patient throughout the surgery and recovery process. The surgical suite features advanced monitoring tools, including EKG, pulse, oxygen, and body temperature monitoring. Patient support is enhanced with IV fluids, heated surgical tables, and warm air blankets, ensuring optimal conditions are maintained during procedures.

Throughout the recovery period, our trained staff ensures that every pet remains comfortable, pain-free, and free from anxiety, providing attentive care to promote a smooth recuperation.

Monitoring and Support

Every patient is assigned a surgical technician to help monitor him or her during the procedure and throughout recovery as well. Some of the tools we use and systems we track include:

  • IV fluids

  • EKG monitor

  • Pulse and oxygen monitor

  • Body temperature monitor

  • Heated surgical tables and warm air blankets to maintain temperature

  • Esophageal stethoscope

  • Blood pressure monitoring
