Dr. Annemarie Alberta's passion for veterinary medicine began in childhood, conducting her first cat exam with a Fisher Price doctor's kit. Driven by her passion for animal care, she worked as a technician at Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital before pursuing higher education.

Dr. Alberta earned a degree in Biology with a concentration in Animal Science from William Paterson University, followed by her D.V.M. from St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada, graduating with honors in 2020.

Dr. Alberta joined Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital as an associate veterinarian in 2020. Her interests include preventive medicine, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. Her dedication to enhancing the health and well-being of pets includes nurturing the bond between pets and owners.

Outside of work, Dr. Alberta enjoys outdoor activities with her English Springer Spaniels Blake and Ruby. She also shares her home with her beloved cats Skittles and Pistachio.
