Dr. Dan Golodik, a native of Tenafly, NJ, developed a deep appreciation for animals and nature from a young age, spending summers at the Jersey shore and frequenting Island Beach State Park for its natural beauty and wildlife. Raised in a home that fostered rescue dogs, he has always been involved in animal care and rescue efforts.

Dr. Golodik earned his B.S. degree in pre-veterinary science from The University of Rhode Island in 2009, followed by his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013.

In 2018, Dr. Golodik joined Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital as an associate veterinarian. After briefly relocating to California, he returned to OVH in 2023. Dr. Golodik finds great fulfillment in his career in veterinary medicine, forming strong bonds with both animals and their owners. Areas of interest to him include dentistry, internal medicine, dermatology and ophthalmology.

Outside of the office, Dr. Golodik enjoys staying active and being outdoors with his dog Sunny, a border collie mix. His favorite outdoor activities include hiking, surfing, and photography.
