Danielle Rawlins

Dr. Danielle Rawlins is originally from Pittsburgh, PA, where she developed a deep love for animals early in life. She always knew her goal was to become a small animal veterinarian. This led her to pursue Animal Science and Zoology at the University of New Hampshire. After completing her undergraduate studies, she moved on to earn her veterinary degree from the University of Prince Edward Island's Atlantic Veterinary College in 2003.

Dr. Rawlins joined Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital in 2003 as an associate veterinarian. Her professional interests include dentistry, internal medicine, infectious diseases, and geriatric pet care. She values building lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

Dr. Rawlins resides in Asbury Park with her partner, Dr. Campbell, where they enjoy the vibrant community. At home, they are accompanied by Milli, a rescue pitbull terrier mix saved from a South Carolina shelter, as well as Leroy and Vincent, affectionate orange cats adopted locally. Outside the hospital, Dr. Rawlins loves sharing home-cooked meals and a glass of wine with family and friends on LBI, along with stand-up paddle boarding and traveling.
